Trunk or Treat

Well, I've officially survived my full time orientation!! Hallelujah! Now life should be much more manageable. One more shift then my mom comes for a visit and I get 2 weeks off. Yay!

In other news, yesterday was our trunk or treat activity. We had a really fun time. There was a chili dinner, carnival style games, and a costume parade. Then we opened up the trunk and the kids went nuts. So much candy!

Neil only wears the hat for about 30 seconds. I consider it a win that he even let me put the costume on him.

My Vampire Princesses and little pumpkin.

Fun party games with prizes!

Claire and her good friend the zombie bride.

The fun "spider web" for the kids to navigate.

Today we got our pumpkins ready for Friday. We let the kids scoop out the insides and this year both of the girls did all of their own carving.

Claire's (it has a bow-tie), Neil's (he drew it himself), and Grace's (it's winking)

Now to bake up the seeds. I think we're ready for Halloween!
