Back to it

These last couple of weeks have been super crazy around here. I decided to go back to work and that meant full time orientation. I've always been a labor & delivery nurse, and I just had the itch to get back to it. Luckily I was able to find a L&D near my house that wanted prn (as needed) staff. This is perfect for me because it only requires about 4 shifts a month and I can choose when they will be. The only major downside is that I have to do my shifts at night. I haven't done nights since before Grace was born. It's definitely going to be an adjustment. I'm hoping they will let me move to days sooner than later.

Right now we are all just trying to survive my orientation. I only have one more week to go before things slow down. It's tough doing 3 nights a week. Yikes! I don't know how people do this consistently. I will be so much happier to go in just once. Thankfully Chris has been able to work from home while I sleep. So far so good.

While I was sleeping Grace had a play date with a friend and they decided to dress up and play nurse/doctor. She makes such a cute nurse!

This is my life for the next week or so. I just need to get though it. Then my mom gets to come for a visit! We are all super excited.
