Last games and test time

Claire finished up her fall softball season with a nice win under the lights. It's tradition to play the last game at night at the much nicer field. Thankfully it wasn't as cold as it was last year. What a fun season with the Black Widows! Her team ended up #1. Good job Claire!

Grace also finished the season strong in soccer. She was chosen from her team to play in the all-star game again. She was on team Brazil, and they also had a fancy night game on a turf field under the lights. Grace played really well and gave 100% effort, but sadly her team lost. Maybe next year. She also had a great time on the Wicked Kickers! The team was #2 in the league.

As our sports wrapped up I had time to turn my attention to my nursing credentials. I decided to take the ACLS class. (it's basically cpr on steroids, for healthcare workers) It was a two day course and I was pretty nervous about it. Many of the concepts I hadn't looked at since nursing school, like 13 years ago! I spent about 2 weeks studying in all my free time. It totally paid off. I was well prepared for the class and passed with flying colors. Bam!

Now it's time to get ready for the next couple of CRAZY weeks. Stay tuned.
