Cubs Win!!

Wow! What an amazing road it was to get here! To give a little background Chris and his family have been big Chicago Cub fans forever. His dad grew up near there in Indiana so the love for the cubs passed on to Chris and his brothers.

Fast forward to the last few years. We went to see the Cubs play in DC when we lived there. We also went to see them play the Giants here in SF. This year we decided to follow the team really closely. It started out as a good way to help the girls with their softball. Watching the different game scenarios really helped them learn more about how the game works. Of course as the season progressed we tried not to get our hopes up as it seemed that they were doing really well. We purchased a big "W" flag and raised it proudly after every win.

You know how the rest of the story played out. Crazy playoff games led to the World Series...and that led to World Champions 2016! We were all freaking out. It was so much fun! The kids were crazy excited and I was so glad for Chris and his family. It was long overdue for the Cubs.

Go cubs go, go Cubs go....hey Chicago what'ya say? the Cubs are gonna win today!
