Will it ever end?

We have only been here since mid January, but boy have we had plenty of winter. At first the snow was a welcome change and pretty fun. Now, it is March. I'm ready to move on. Unfortunately, mother nature had different plans. Yesterday we had another big storm. They predicted up to 12 inches. Thankfully only about 8 made it to us. School was of course cancelled yesterday and today. We are getting sick of being inside.

This last weekend we had friends over for dinner on Saturday which was a lot of fun. Then on Sunday we were invited to dinner after Church. It was a nice relaxing weekend before the storm.

We have been taking plenty of opportunities to play outside, make snow angels, and just goof around in the snow. This time it's light and fluffy so no snowmen.

Poor Neil. There's always something with him. He didn't fare so well against the sidewalk last Friday. Those scabs are taking forever to heal.

He still had fun though.

The kids figured out how to launch themselves off the slide into a snow pile. It looked pretty fun, and they wanted me to try, but I'm pretty sure my booty wouldn't squeeze down the slide. 

Hopefully, this weekend will bring more March like weather our way. We need to thaw out a bit.
