I will do my best to quickly catch everyone up...
February:
I got to fly out to Utah by myself to go meet my new niece Ember. I met my other sister there as well and it was a nice sister weekend.
My kids all started their spring sports season. Claire was on the Rebels Interleague Softball team, Grace was on Tropic Thunder 10u, and Neil played baseball in single A for the Rockies. Here they all are on opening day.
We tried out this ice cream place in Oakland called Fentons. Yumm!
The kids's elementary school had a Blackhawk helicopter come land in the field for the day. All the classes took turns looking through it. We had a great time watching it land and take off.
I drove on Grace's field trip to the San Jose Mission in Fremont. It was a stormy day, but we had a good time.
March:
I drove on another fieldtrip with Grace's class to Sacramento. We toured the state capital and old town Sacramento. It was pretty interesting.
Of course in March we were spending a ton of our time playing softball and baseball. Every weekend each kid had a game and there were many practices on all of the weeknights. I helped organize our second annual Livermore Softball Golf tournament. Besides the crappy weather, it went really well.
Neil was awarded the 26.2 mile award from Running Club at school.
I will get April and May into the next post. :)
