It's spring around here and we have been busy enjoying the bits of sunshine as they come. For spring break this year we stayed around and tried to do fun things each day. We hit up McDonald's for lunch and play, we went swimming at the pool, we bravely managed a zoo day, and we ended the week with an impromptu camping trip at Stub Stewart. It was action packed and we all had a great time. I only got a few pics while at the zoo because the other times I was too busy just playing with the kids.
It did get us really excited for the summer and being able to go camping again. Neil loves camping. That kid would be happy to spend everyday outside. It was great to be able to let him just wander around and finally not have to follow his every move. This summer should be good.
The next couple weeks went by fast. Claire received a character award at school for being compassionate. It was fun to go surprise her at her assembly. We also went to see the Croods movie; and Neil actually sat nicely for the whole thing! Other than that we've sorta just been hanging out and trying to plan out our summer. I am ready.
